no…. serge is not tying the knot yet. But if all goes well, he will. Been reading weblogs from his bloggersphere list and upon reaching Dee which is connected via Edrei, serge came upon a sentence which he fell in love with.

To quote from the movie Shall We Dance, I think it’s one of the best definitions of marriage I’ve heard so far,

Beverly Clark (Susan Sarandon): “We need a witness to our lives. There’s a billion people on the planet… I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you’re promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things… all of it, all of the time, every day. You’re saying ‘Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness.” -Why Couples Marry?

the above words are true. deeply true. serge hopes and prays to be with pat eternally. even if it is not through the exhanging of rings, the wish to be with her till his last breath is his final wish.
